Our Health Testing Priorities
Before any dog joins our breeding family, they pass a full set of health evaluations. We believe responsible breeding starts with honesty, transparency, and thorough testing.
Hip & Joint Screening
Every parent undergoes OFA hip and patella evaluations. Any dog that doesn't earn passing scores is lovingly retired from our program.
PRA Eye Testing
We DNA-test all breeding dogs for progressive retinal atrophy, pairing carriers only with clear mates so no affected puppies are ever produced.
Cardiac Evaluations
All parents receive cardiac checks by board-certified veterinary cardiologists, including echocardiography when needed, to confirm heart health.
Patella Evaluations
Each breeding dog is assessed by an orthopedic specialist, and only dogs with normal, healthy patella function are approved for our program.
